Before an athlete touches a weight, six specialists assess them. Here's what that process looks like and why it drives everything that follows.
Every program at Bommarito Performance Systems starts the same way: with a full evaluation. Not a movement screen bolted onto a template, a genuine multi-disciplinary investigation of how an athlete's body currently works, what it has been through, and what is holding it back.
Six sets of eyes, not one
An athlete is assessed by our physical therapy and ATC staff, our chiropractic staff, our massage and neuromuscular therapists, our foot specialists, and our performance staff. Each discipline sees something the others do not.
Static and transitional evaluation, physical therapy and ATC
Spinal, pelvic and associated limb evaluation, chiropractic
Myofascial, local muscular and neural evaluation, massage therapy
Neuro-muscular firing patterns and muscle activation, neuromuscular staff
Digital and motion analysis of gait patterns, foot specialists
Full kinetic chain evaluation, performance staff
Then the data
Findings are paired with objective biometrics, force plate output, NordBord hamstring data, Proteus, velocity-based training numbers and reactive strength index. The evaluation tells us what is happening. The data tells us how much.
Why it matters
An athlete coming off a season with a history of hamstring strains, a rotated pelvis and asymmetric force production does not need the same off-season as a healthy athlete of the same position. Individualization is not a marketing word here, it is the direct output of the evaluation.
